Bike Trip from Nashville to New Orleans
This page has pictures of our trip as we move along from Nashville to New Orleans. It is my hope we can actually maneuver the technology to actually accomplish this goal. Mary is heading over the longest bridge on the Trace.
Tom Hendrix, a. Native. American, had a vision to build a wall in honor of his great gread grandmother who was renoved frm her home after her parents were killed and sent to Oklahoma on the trail of tears and then walked back home.
This is Jackson Falls which is now just a trickle. It hasn't rain in over a month. We started to bike at the break of day because the. temperature. has been 98 degrees during the day.
Beautiful picnic areas and since no one is around they can double ad camping sites.
- A biker's dream. Very little traffic for mile after mile. All the cars move over to the other lane.
We are finally on the road.. Our first night of stealth camping beteen bales of hay on the Nachez Trace.
