Lifecycling

What is Lifecycling anyway?  There are so many cycles that are interconnected on this planet of ours. The carbon, nitrogen, plant, seasonal, lunar, menstrual,  etc. etc. etc. Can we as humans fit into these lifecycles?

There are many challenges facing us in the world today. The Earth is asking us to understand, and to be a part of, the life cycle.  For millions of years many forms of life have existed on our planet and now many of these life forms have become extinct and many others are in danger of extinction. This rate of extinction is accelerating. There is controversy on whether human activities are responsible for these changes or not. The information and ideas on this website are expressed with the understanding that humans are making these far-reaching impacts on our global biosphere. This website will inform and investigate ways in which we can move toward being a part of the life cycle instead of trying to control it.

In the Basic Principles of Sustainability section on this website there are articles that explain the theory behind the practical applications of the Applying Sustainability part of the site.  These articles paint a picture.  At first if one only looks at part of a painting a sense of the whole cannot be obtained, however as different parts are filled in the whole picture becomes apparent.  As stated, examples are conveyed in Applying Sustainability and these are only examples that apply to a certain set of circumstances or lifestyle.  The examples are there to demonstrate another way of thinking about the challenges we all face.  In order to understand the entirety of the holistic framework that I am trying to convey, it is best to read every article on this website and interconnect their meanings to get an understanding of the greater whole.
